The role: Online Advertising Specialist
This role is a replacement within the SEA team, where you’ll collaborate with multiple colleagues. You will be part of the Marketing Channels department, which consists of over 20 digital specialists across various disciplines. Your direct peers are SEA specialists with related expertise, and together you drive the growth and visibility of Sunweb’s paid campaigns.
The role combines both strategic and operational elements and also gives you the chance to pick up internal projects. These projects can vary from reporting and tool implementation to margin optimization, with room for your own initiatives.
As Online Advertising Specialist, you will take the lead on multiple accounts across paid channels, including search, social, display, and video. You’ll shape campaign strategies while fine-tuning execution for maximum impact.
Your responsibilities:
Set up, manage, and optimize digital campaigns across search, social, display, and video channels
Take full ownership of performance for your assigned European market, continuously seeking ways to boost results
Use data-driven insights to identify optimization opportunities and test innovative approaches
Work on cross-functional improvement projects in addition to daily campaign operations
Collaborate closely with creative, content, pricing, and e-commerce teams for optimal campaign setups
Co-create media plans tailored to your market’s needs
What Sunweb is looking for in you
You have a passion for search advertising and data analysis, paired with a strong commercial mindset. You thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and informal environment, and you know how to turn data into results. You also bring:
Several years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in multi-channel campaigns, especially in Search and Display/Video, plus at least 1 year of hands-on experience in another paid channel
Experience managing significant budgets in an e-commerce environment
Solid expertise with Search Ads 360, GA4, and feed management tools, enabling you to set up, track, and optimize campaigns effectively
A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a strong sense of ownership
Excellent self-management and organizational skills, you’re eager to test new ideas, take responsibility, and show enthusiasm in everything you do
Fluent English (Dutch is a plus)
